新学期伊始，80余名来自俄罗斯、波兰、蒙古、日本、泰国、乌兹别克斯坦、摩洛哥等29个国家的国际学生顺利返校报到。为进一步了解我校国际学生新学期学习和生活情况，3月4日上午，校党委常委、副院长刘永琴在新学期首日深入中山西路校区对国际学生工作进行全面检查，国际交流学院院长姚杰，副院长郭慧君、沈月红陪同。
At the beginning of the new semester, more than 80 international students from 29 countries, including Russia, Poland, Mongolia, Japan, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Morocco, successfully returned to SLU. In order to further understand the learning and living conditions of international students in the new semester of SLU on the morning of March 4th, Liu Yongqin, Vice President of SLU, went to West Zhongshan Road campus on the first day of the new semester to conduct a comprehensive inspection of international students, accompanied by Yao Jie, Dean of the School of International Exchange, Guo Huijun and Shen Yuehong, Vice Deans of the School of International Exchange.

Vice President Liu Yongqin went into the classesof international students, earnestly inquired about the curriculum arrangement of the new semester, the preparation of teaching equipment in the classroom, the teaching of teachers and the arrival of international students, and had face-to-face communication with the teaching teachers and international students, encouraging students to study hard and move forward in the new semester, and stressed the need to continuously optimize teaching resources and provide good teaching conditions for teachers and students.
刘永琴副院长亲切慰问在校国际学生，对国际学生宿舍、公共洗漱房等安全卫生、宿舍设施设备工作运转情况进行了细致查看，详细询问和查看国际学生住宿分布及管理情况，并对需要进一步整改提升的地方进行了现场指示。
