II Application and Admission

1.Application Qualifications

Applicant must be a citizen of a foreign country from 18 years of age to 40, in good mental and physical health, without being affected by communicable diseases, mental disease, etc. And hold a high school diploma.

1) Applicants applying for English-taught programs: In addition to the application materials, students who are not native speakers of English-speaking countries must also submit a certificate of IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, or a TOEFL score of 80 or higher, or other proof of English language excellence
2) Applicants applying for Chinese language teaching programs: In addition to the application materials, they must also submit HSK Level 4 and above certificates.

3.Application Methods

1)Those who wish to study at Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance need to visithttp://en.lixin.edu.cn/and download SLU Application Form. Applicant need tosubmit relevant documents and application form to International Students Office by post, email, or apply onsite directly.

2)Pay Application fees

Application fee: RMB 400

How to pay: Applicants in China need to pay the application fee to the university directly, and the China Union pay card is preferred. Applicants in abroad can transfer the application fee to School bank account.

*Please write down the applicant’sname or passport number when transferring fees.

3)After submitting the written application materials, please check the results of the mailbox in time and supplement the relevant materials as required.

4.Application Materials

1)One completed Application Form together with signature and photograph;

2)The highest official diploma and transcripts. If the applicant is a student at school, he/she must submit the expected graduation certificate issued by the school. Chinese or English translations should also be provided for non-Chinese or non-English certificates.

3)A copy of Language Proficiency;

4)Photocopy of valid passport;

5)Other supplementary materials required for enrollment;

6)Transferring receipt of Application fee.

*An application with incomplete materials will be invalid. All the above-mentioned application materials and application fee are nonrefundable. School will check all the required original materials when registration. Those whose original materials are inconsistent, study qualification will be cancelled and students are required to leave China within limited days.

5.Entrance Examination

Interview: student comprehensive quality and language proficiency (Chinese, English) are mainly examined.

6.Admission

1)Admission Principle is in accordance with the interview results, senior high school results and school comprehensive evaluations.

2)The admission result will be announced in our school websitehttp://gjjlxy.lixin.edu.cnearly July, please check it on time. The results of checking admission is not accepted by calling.

3)The Admission Notice and “Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 Form)” will be given to the admitted applicants.
