SLU Holds Campus Recruitment Week for 2022 Graduates

In order to implement the work plan of the Party Central Committee and the State Council of Stabilize and Secure Employment and promote the employment of graduates, SLU held the Campus Recruitment Week for the 2022 Graduates from November 29 to December 3 at Shangchuan Road Campus and Wenxiang Road Campus at the same time. Wang Junhua,Vice Chair of the University Council and Vice Presidentof SLU, went to the site to communicate with employers and guide graduates to choose their jobs.

The Campus Recruitment Week strictly implemented the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, invited enterprises to participate in recruitment by time, area and batch, timely communicated the requirements of epidemic prevention and control to each unit, and made reservation for the access control system according to the list of participants to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the recruitment session. The event was carried out in 4 days with 8 sessions, featuring reduced scale, increased session and precise recruitment. There were more than 100 employers such as HSBC Shanghai Branch, Shanghai Construction Group, and Shanghai Free Trade Zone Talent Service Center, Pudong New Area Financial Promotion Association, Songjiang District Social and Human Resources Bureau, etc. played the regional and industry advantages, carred out group recruitment to the school. Nearly 400 posts were provided on site, with more than 2,000 job positions, covering all majors of the University.

In order to enhance the effect of this Campus Recruitment Week, the Admission and Employment Office pushed the information of the event in advance through the employment information service website and SLU Employment Service WeChat Public Account, so that graduates can know the participating units at the first time, which greatly enhanced the accuracy of students' job search. The deputy secretary of each school in charge of employment work and the counselors of graduation classes also came to the site to guide graduates in resume submission and take the initiative to match with their employers and to recommend graduates. The activities were also supported by the Department of Logistics and Services and the Security Department of the University.


Since the commencement of the employment work for the 2022 graduates, the Admission and Employment Office has held four offline and online job fairs at the university level and organized offline seminars for more than 50 famous enterprises, such as ICBC Shanghai Branch, Agricultural Bank of China Shanghai Branch, CITIC Futures, China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp. Ltd., CCCC Shanghai Dredging Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Xuhui State-owned Assets Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., in an effort to create more quality job hunting opportunities for graduates. At present, Agricultural Bank of China Shanghai Branch, Bank of Communications Shanghai Branch, Ernst & Young, KPMG and BDO have issued the first batch of offers to some of our graduates, and the employment teams at both school and university levels will continue to take active actions to develop more industry-specific and regional job markets, expand more employment channels and positions, promote the upgrading and quality of campus recruitment, and effectively do a good job in mapping and accurately helping unemployed graduates, so as to promote higher quality and better employment for the graduates of 2022.
