The Economics program at SLUAFis oriented to serve the demands in constructing Shanghai’s “five centers”, integrating the Yangtze River Delta region,and realizing the new goal of China’s new pattern.On the basis of individual development at all rounds, our graduates should systematically master the analytical methods of modern economics, have the ability of profound observation and independent thinking, and apply knowledge in broader fields.
With the ability and attitude of further learning, our graduates are competent for economic analysis, forecasting, planning and management positions in comprehensive economic management departments, policy research departments, financial institutions, and all kinds of enterprises.
The curriculum consists of general, professional and practical research courses. Students will receive general and basic professional education in the first and second years, and in-depth professional and personalized education in the third or fourth years. Students are required to complete at least 158 credits in 3-6 years. A bachelor’s degree of economics will be awarded to those who meet the requirements.
