Introduction
Since the establishment in 1928, Chiba University of Commerce (CUC) located Ichikawa-shi, Chiba is a Japanese private university that started university education in 1950. Under the educational philosophy of “practical scholarship with high morality”, it started as a school for accounting. There is the Faculty of Commerce and Economics (incl. Departments of Commerce, Business Administration, and Economics), Faculty of Policy Informatics (Department of Policy Informatics), Faculty of Service Innovation, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Global Studies. Besides, there is GraduateSchool of Commerce, Graduate School of Economics, Graduate School of Policy Informatics, Graduate School of Policy Studies, and Graduate School of Accounting & Finance.
The educational content of CUC has evolved to nurture people who are able to respond to both the demands of the times and the changing society. CUC inspires its students to become more active, to expand their individuality, and to develop their abilities. To help them tie together their theoretical learning with real-life experience, they are constantly tested and encouraged to evolve.
