Mid-Autumn festival, one of the most celebrated fall festivities in China was brought to the inner walls of IBAs newly opened building. This year, however, the bustle of celebration took place in a cozy non formal atmosphere of IBAs Student Bar that welcomed both Chinese language learners, oriental culture enthusiasts and everyone else interested.

Symbol of the mid-autumn festival – Chinese mooncakes were one of the main attributes of the event: participants could taste original mooncakes of red bean, salted egg yolk and white lotus paste flavors, as well as carefully hand-made “snow-skin” mooncakes. And not only that – tasting of Chinese tea, taking part in cultural games and simply enjoying the company of one another in a pleasant environment became a highlight of this event. As mid-autumn is traditionally meant for closeness, friendships and family bonding, it could be said that through this little get together participants all created a pleasant feeling of hygge with Chinese twist.
