Report for IBACI Chinese Mid-Autumn festival event

Confucius Institute joined Chinese Embassy’s China Day to celebrate Mid-Autumn festival in Copenhagen. This year was particularly special, as Embassy had invited local Danish families, who have kindly adopted Chinese children to celebrate together in a warming environment, reconnecting to the traditional roots of this festivity.
The festival celebration took place in the outer garden of the Embassy Closeness and family feeling are the irreplaceable elements to the Mid-Autumn festival therefore IBACI has initiated several activities that would bring everyone together. The smallest ones took part in the marble game and tossing rings to win souvenirs, learn calligraphy also experience the main attribute – Chinese mooncakes with red bean and sesame filling. Guests also could take part in making ofjiaozidumplings, traditional facial painting and taste a variety of authentic Chinese foods and desserts.
Ambassador Feng Tie and his wife of the Chinese Embassy in Denmark also eagerly tasted the moon cakes and nodded and praised, The taste is good, not too sweet, the taste of China, asked about the work of the Confucius Institute, and took a group photo with the teachers of the Confucius Institute.
