On May 08-14.2019, associate professor Alexander Ganchev from Dimitar Tsenov Academy of Economics, Bulgaria visited Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance during his Erasmus+ teaching mobility.
Dimitar Tsenov Academy of Economics is one of the top 3 Bulgarian economic universities, founded in 1936 with donation of the prominent Bulgarian entrepreneur Dimitar Tsenov. Today the Academy is a leading Bulgarian state university, which provides higher education in finance, accounting, marketing, insurance, management, commerce, tourism, etc.
During his visit associate professor Alexander Ganchev held several lectures with students from Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance on the topics of the business valuation and the investment strategies of hedge funds.
Professor Alexander Ganchev also had a number of working meetings with associate professor Bill Chen and the team of the School of International Finance at which he presented his work, his university and the opportunities for academic exchange. At these meetings the participants discussed opportunities for future cooperation in the field of scientific research and education in finance between Dimitar Tsenov Academy of Economics and Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance.

My visit was very useful and valuable in terms of the opportunity to present my work, to improve my teaching skills and above all, to get familiar with the Chinese culture and the beautiful city of Shanghai. Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance has highly qualified academic staff, who are truly dedicated to their profession and who provide students with deep knowledge of financial theory and practice. I was impressed by the green, modern, tidy and open campus of the university. All this creates opportunity for comprehensive and complete educational process.
