Recently, the 2019 National Fencing Championship and the first round of the Second Youth Preliminaries were opened in Shaoxing. Vice President Zhao Rongshan went to Shaoxing Shangyu Gymnasium to hold a pre-game analysis meeting for coachesand cheered on the team.
After fierce competition, the Shanghai No. 1 team (SLU Team) consisting of Xu Mengxu, Li Xin, Xu Yundi and He Jiayue defeated the Fujian No.1 team at 39:38 and won the bronze medal of the women's foil team. The city's foil team member Xu Mengxu won the fifth place in the women's foil individual, and the men's foil team won the seventh place in the group competition.
After hard winter training, the male and female foil team has made great progress in physical fitness and combat technology. Under the guidance of the coaching team, the team's combat effectiveness and cohesiveness have been continuously improved.
